中央氣象署指出，7月23日晚間至26日須留意凱米颱風帶來的風雨，其中7月24-25日最接近台灣、影響最劇烈，各地風雨將更加明顯。為確保校產及人員安全，減少災損，提醒各單位做好防颱準備工作，並督請管理人員巡查疏通頂樓及各層樓之落水孔，並加強館舍周邊水溝與格柵之清理、務必檢視抽水泵浦是否正常運作，以避免因阻塞而造成淹水災害。並請依「清華大學防颱自主檢查表」落實檢查。

豪大雨期間本校停車應避免停在樹下，以免樹木傾倒壓損車輛，請停放於安全場所停車格或室內停車場。

Typhoon Kaemi is gradually approaching our campus will be affected. All buildings on campus should take early precautions against strong winds and sudden heavy rain to ensure the safety of both the properties and personnel.

Please adhere to the following measures to prevent damage from heavy rainfall and cooperate accordingly:

1. Building administrators are requested to conduct regular inspections and ensure the drainage outlets on rooftops and all floors are unblocked. Additionally, please strengthen the cleaning of surrounding water channels and grids around the buildings.

2. Verify the proper functioning of water pumps to avoid flooding disasters caused by blockages.

3. During periods of heavy rainfall, please refrain from parking vehicles under trees to prevent potential damage from fallen trees. Instead, park vehicles in designated safe parking spaces or indoor parking lots.

4. Refer to the "National Tsing Hua University Typhoon Preparedness Self-Inspection Checklist" and implement necessary inspections.
